Over the years, CareerLink has worked closely with local businesses to determine the workforce development services they require to expand their businesses. Based on business input, CareerLink currently provides the following services to employers:

4. Conducting interviews of potential employees
   
5. Re-training for incumbent workers
   
6. Information on new hire tax credits
   
7. Matching applicants’ skills to job needs
   
8. Customized and on-the-job training
   
9. Out-placement services for laid off workers
   
10. Customized services to meet needs of local businesses
    
11. Interview rooms for positive recruitments

 

 

All of these services are offered free of charge to businesses. Additionally, CareerLink works in conjunction with the City’s Planning and Economic Development (PED) Department and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to maximize resources and provide all available options to assist the businesses in our community in growing and prospering.
