MAYOR ERIC J. PERRODIN HOSTS
QUARTERLY PASTOR’S BREAKFAST
(COMPTON, CA - MAY 29, 2007) Compton Mayor Eric J. Perrodin invites you to attend his Quarterly Pastor's Breakfast on Saturday, June 16, 2007, 8:00 - 10:00 am. The quarterly breakfast will be held at the Crystal Park Casino and Hotel, located at 123 E. Artesia Boulevard, Compton, Ca. 90220.
The Mayor's special guest speaker will be Pastor Ken Korver, Senior Pastor of the Emmanuel Reformed Church, in Paramount, California.
Pastor Korver and his father, Harold Korver, have brought pastoral leadership to the church and to the City of Paramount for more than 30 years. In October 2005, Pastor Korver and the Emmanuel Reformed Church made a 40 year commitment to serve the City of Compton through spiritual and community outreach.
"We believe Compton is a city beloved of God, which will bring God's glory all over the world before 40 years have concluded,said Pastor Korver, Compton will become an oasis of grace,"
The Mayor's vision for the quarterly breakfast, sponsored by the Crystal Park Hotel and Casino was to bring together the spiritual leadership with city government to partnership and bring about a more improved lifestyle for the residents and stakeholders of the City of Compton.
