THE CITY OF COMPTON LAUNCHES AWARENESS CAMPAIGN TO SHOWCASE CITYWIDE MOTTO – “BIRTHING A NEW COMPTON”
(Compton, CA – March 19, 2007) – The Compton CareerLink WorkSource Center and Compton Planning and Economic Development Department join forces to provide increased development services and resources for local business owners and residents. CareerLink and Planning offer the following business packages to local residents for FREE:
- Business Incentive Information – Enterprise Zone Incentive Tax, Foreign Trade Zones,
HUB Zones, Redevelopment Agency Incentives
- Business Counseling and Consulting Services
- Energy cost-savings and efficiency programs and technical assistance

- Layoff Aversion Assistance
- Outplacement Services for Dislocated Workers
