A. Requests for easily identifiable public documents may be made in person in the City Clerk's Office and copies are made available at that time for a fee. However, more complex document requests must be submitted in writing. The City has 10 calendar days to respond and will advise the requestor, in writing, as to availability of those records for inspection or photocopying.

A. The request must be made within 21 days from the date the citation was issued.

A. Mail a written statement explaining why you feel the citation should be dismissed to the address on the back of the citation: City of Compton Treasurer's Office, 205 S. Willowbrook Avenue, Compton, 90220, or in person Monday or Thursday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. only in room #3 at 600 N. Alameda Street, Compton, CA 90220.
