CITY OF COMPTON TURNS 119
CITY OFFICIALS CELEBRATION BIRTHDAY
TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2007
Who: The Mayor, City Council, City Administration
What: Local officials and city administrators will celebrate the 119th birthday of the City of Compton in the City Hall lobby all with literature and material available with information about city departments and services. In addition, city branded merchandise, including tee-shirts, mugs and accessories will be sold. Residents, local business owners and community organizations are invited. There will be a special presentation featuring refreshments prior to the weekly City Council meeting.
When: Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. (prior to the 7:00 p.m. weekly City Council Meeting).
Where: Martin L. King, Jr. Transit Center, 300 North Willowbrook Avenue, Compton, CA 90220
We invite everyone to come out and support us in making this a fun-filled, community based event. This is one more example of the citizens and local government working toward “Birthing a New Compton”.
