10/03/2018 - Artesia Blue Line Community Meeting

The City of Compton has launched a transit-oriented development (TOD) specific plan for the Artesia Blue Line Station. In collaboration with the community and other stakeholders, the specific plan, entitled “Compton Hub City”, will create a vision for future development and other public improvements within the Artesia Station Area.

The City of Compton invites the public to its second community workshop that will further refine the open space and mobility recommendations based in the community values developed at the July 16, 2018 Vision Workshop that will drive the planning process moving forward.

Participants will explore, discuss and then participate in the creation of various transportation and public space interventions that will frame future development around a new Artesia Station Area.

Join us for a visioning workshop led by the City of Compton and their consultant team. Your input will assist the City in its preparation of a specific plan that is responsive to the needs of the community and enhances access, opportunity and livability for all.

Event: Thursday, October 11, 2018 6:30pm - 8:00 pm.
Location: Greater Zion Church  2408 N. Wilmington Avenue Compton CA. 90222
