Long Beach Transit (LBT) Articulated Bus Route Updates - AB 1250 (Bloom Requirements)

Assembly Bill 1250 (Bloom) requires a public transit operator, operating articulated transit buses, to provide notice to all cities and counties within its service area; identifying the approximate routes upon which the buses are expected to be scheduled for service and identifying any changes to the service on those routes and any new routes upon which the buses are expected to be scheduled for the upcoming year. The notice shall also include data from information provided by the bus manufacturer to the transit operator, identifying the weight of the articulated bus.

Additionally, LBT is providing information pertaining to its operation of zero emission, battery-electric buses (BEBs).

Long Beach Transit (LBT) serves the cities of Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, Paramount and portions of Artesia, Bellflower, Carson, Cerritos, Compton, Hawaiian Gardens, Los Alamitos, Norwalk and Seal Beach.
