On June 21, 2020 (Sunday), we had two of our water wells experience power failures, which caused the system demands to be augmented more with our Water Storage Tanks, which also resulted in a change in the normal flow pattern in the water system which can cause iron particles to become dislodged from the old steel water mains. This can result in discoloration of water from light yellow to brown.
There are no health effects, just unpleasant to see.
City staff has been out flushing to clear up the water mains.
