LA County’s voting system is undergoing a major update, just in time for the upcoming March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary Election.
The County’s new voting experience, called Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP), will allow voters to vote at any vote center in the County, instead of one designated polling place. In addition, fully accessible voting equipment will be available at every vote center and voting will be available for 11 days, instead of just one day. Finally, the County is moving away from reliance on paper rosters and will move to electronic pollbooks, which will allow for same-day voter registration.
