Burrell/MacDonald Park Community Center is equipped with children’s playground apparatus, outside basketball courts, a junior baseball diamond, picnic facilities, barbecue pits, and large auditorium with stage, kitchen, restrooms and off-street parking. Hours of Operation are: Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – as posted.

Charles “Pop” Siler Community Center is equipped with a gymnasium (for multi-purpose use: volleyball court, etc.), two (2) junior baseball diamonds, children’s playground apparatus, outdoor/indoor cooking facilities, meeting rooms, picnic facilities for large groups and off-street parking. Gonzales Park is also the home of Jackie Robinson Stadium. The stadium is a regulation field. Hours of Operation are: Monday through Thursday, 11:00 noon to 8:00p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – as posted.

 

GONZALES PARK AQUATICS CENTER

Gonzales Park Aquatics Center is open daily during the summer months of June, July, August and September. Hours of Operation are: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. (Swimming Lessons); Mondays only Day Camp, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Night Swim); Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Recreation Swim); Sundays, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Recreational Swim).

Kelly Park Community Center is equipped with a kitchen and stage, meeting rooms, picnic area with barbecue pits, children’s playground apparatus, outdoor basketball court and volleyball court, a junior baseball diamond and outdoor restrooms. Hours of Operation are: Monday through Thursday, 11:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – as posted.

Hours of Operation are: Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – (Sundays 12 noon – 5:00 p.m. during Adult League Play only) -as posted.

SIBRIE PARK

This park has children’s playground apparatus, tetherball, volleyball, barbecue pits, a picnic area, a junior baseball diamond, lighted outdoor basketball courts and restrooms.

 

SOUTH PARK

Chester & Caldwell Streets – 4.83 acres
South Park has a junior baseball and softball diamond, children’s playground apparatus, tetherball, an outdoor basketball court, restrooms, picnic facilities for large groups and off-street parking.

 

TRAGNIEW PARK

2121 West Alondra Blvd. – 4.5 acres
Tragniew Park offers lighted tennis courts. It has children’s playground apparatus, a picnic area and a 10 station fitness center.

 

WALTER R. TUCKER PARK

560 West Laurel Street – 4.9 acres
The park is equipped with modern outdoor restrooms, a 12 station fitness center, enlarged play equipment areas and a colorful gazebo located in the center of the park. Off-street parking along with outdoor lighting provides for evening recreational activities. A picnic area complete with barbecue pits and steel picnic tables allows for usage of Block Clubs and other local groups.
