Your Voice Matters: Join the Budget Conversation

Have a say in Compton’s future.

The City of Compton is hosting a series of community meetings, a budget workshop, and a public hearing as part of the Fiscal Year 2026–27 budget process. This is your opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and share your input on how City money is spent.

Community Meetings:
Saturday, May 16 at Kelly Park (2319 E. Caldwell St.) at 10 a.m. 
Monday, May 18 at Gonzales Park (1101 West Cressey St.) at 6 p.m. 
Wednesday, May 20 at Burrell-MacDonald Park (2516 West Alondra Blvd.) at 6 p.m.
Thursday, May 21 Dollarhide Community Center (301 N. Tamarind Ave.) at 6 p.m.

Budget Workshop:
May 26 at 4:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers (205 S. Willowbrook Ave.)

Public Hearing:
June 16 at 5:45 p.m. in City Council Chambers (205 S. Willowbrook Ave.)
