On Monday, September 29, Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang visited Compton to speak directly with residents. During his visit, Assessor Prang discussed the role of his office and provided important updates on the property tax system and the 2025 Assessment Roll.

He also shared information on how homeowners can protect their property by signing up for the Homeowner Alert Service, a free tool that notifies property owners when documents are recorded that may affect their property.

The City of Compton appreciates Assessor Prang for engaging with our community and ensuring residents have access to the resources they need.
