CITY CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES

The City Clerk is one of the oldest government professions. The custodian of recorded history of jurisdiction and the hub of local government. A direct link between citizens and government as well as the Elections Official for the city. The City Clerk performs administrative tasks as prescribed by various state and local codes, including: City Municipal Code, City Charter, Government Code, Election Code, Public Records Request Act, and the Fair Political Practices Commission.
