2014-2021 Housing Element

The City of Compton Housing Element of the General Plan was adopted on February 18, 2020 by the City Council. The Housing Element is critical to the local assessment of both current and future housing needs, the supply and quality of housing, housing assistance, and special needs.

2014 - 2021 Housing Element Update

The city of Compton is preparing a mid-cycle update to the adopted Housing Element and encourages the citizens of Compton and any interested party to review the updated draft Housing Element and provide us with any comments or questions. You can provide your comments using the email address below. The city is accepting comments until May 19th. View the Mid-Cycle Housing Element Update.

The Housing Element is now available to the public.
