Meet your Community Improvement Services Department

This department is comprised of four divisions; Business Licensing, Code Enforcement, Parking Enforcement, and Security.  While all four divisions have different functions the overall goal of our department is to improve the quality of life for the residents and businesses of our community.  The department is headed by one director and assisted by two administrative positions.

Business License

This division consists of two administrative office staff and two enforcement officers.

Our mission at the Business License Division is to support economic growth and development by providing efficient and effective licensing and regulatory services to businesses in our community.  We are committed to ensuring compliance with local and state laws and regulations while promoting a business-friendly environment that fosters entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation.  Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and providing timely and accurate information to help businesses navigate the licensing process.  We believe in promoting transparency, fairness, and accountability in all our activities, and we strive to create a culture of continuous improvement through innovation and collaboration.  Our goal is to be a trusted partner and resource for businesses, supporting their success and contributing to the prosperity of our community.

Hours of operation:

Mon - Thu: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
( Last Customer Serviced at 12:15pm)
Mon - Thur: 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM
( Last Customer Serviced at 5:45 pm)

Parking Division

This division consists of one supervisor, three lead parking officers, and sixteen parking enforcement officers.

Our mission at the Parking Enforcement Division is to provide safe, convenient, and accessible parking options to the community while ensuring compliance with parking regulations. We strive to improve the overall parking experience throughout our City, using innovative technology to improve enforcement, and providing exceptional customer service to all those who use our services.  Our goal is to create a positive impact on the community by contributing to the overall safety, economic development, and livability of the neighborhoods we serve.

Hours of operation:

Mon – Fri       5:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Sat.                 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Code Enforcement

This division consists of one supervisor and eight enforcement officers.

"Our mission at the Code Enforcement Division is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of our community by enforcing local codes and ordinances.  We strive to achieve compliance through education, collaboration, and fair and consistent enforcement.  Our department is committed to promoting and maintaining a safe and attractive environment for all residents, businesses, and visitors.

Hours of operation:

Mon – Wed    7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Wed – Sat     9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Security

This division consists of one supervisor, one lead security officers, and eight security officers.

Our mission at the Security Division is to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and employees at all City facilities.  We strive to deter crime and maintain order through effective partnerships with local law enforcement and other stakeholders.  Our ultimate goal is to create a sense of safety and well-being that allows everyone to thrive and contribute to the vitality of our City.
