The City Attorney’s Office represents and appears for the City and any City Officer or employee, or former City Officer or employees, in any or all actions and proceedings in which the City or any such officer or employee, in or by reason of his official capacity is concerned or is a party. The scope of representation runs the gamut from dangerous condition of public property cases (slip/trip and fall) to breach of contract cases to employment litigation cases. Our office defends the majority of these lawsuits in state and federal court on both the trial and appellate levels.
